I love vintage crafting books/magazines.  "The Workbasket" must have been fabulous...for I found a stack of them and they were published for at least 5 years (the years in my stack).  Everyone month a little rag of paper creative instruction goodness landed right in your mailbox.  All kinds of neat tips, patterns, archaic ideas and Farmers Almanac type information for the creative sort.  Really fun just to read and remember how far things have come....yet, realize we are sometimes right back were we started.  

I am willing to part with three of these in honor of a Christmas sharing....ENJOY!!
