Respect It

Finally the election is over...we must now hope our leaders will make great decisions. My sensory preceptors are very excited to not have to filter the many media spins...ads...counter ads...immense bantering of all parties....over debate and dissection of every one's every syllable, and get back to living our lives as productive, contributing and thoughtful citizens. We live in this country...we call it home...lets respect it for that at minimum. Simple philosophies...sayings....and some basic over simplification is not necessarily a bad thing. After two years of "one upping" every movement of a handful of people, I'm ready to trim back to the basics. "Where thou art, that is home."....this is paid for by the people that live here. Respect it.

Alexa I love having your blog in my Google Reader! I was crazy about you years ago, and having your thoughts pop up on my screen (complete with artsy-craftsy pictures) makes me feel like this:

"I have an Alexa Lett in my life again!"

Because I think every life should have someone like Alexa Lett in it. Since I have known you personally, no substitute would serve in my life.

Wishing you a wonderful, rest-filled, spin-less day.

We are paring down in our lives. We have our home, our business and each other. All is well.
Thanks for your post:)

Thanks for putting that so eloquently. I feel that sense of relief, and "a tempo" also. Let's get back to normal. :) Maybe you'd like to check my blog in the next couple of days so you can enter my first give-away! It's fun...
